"We are excited about Oracle's Fusion applications and the additional co-existence options they provide to our current PeopleSoft Enterprise and Oracle E-Business Suite HCM clients," said Dan Staley, PwC's Oracle Practice HCM Leader. "Whether it is extensions into some of the new Oracle Fusion Talent Management applications, implementation of Workforce Lifecycle Manager or full migrations to Oracle Fusion HCM applications, we believe that our experience in understanding and delivering Oracle Fusion HCM places us in a leading position to help clients successfully deploy Oracle Fusion Applications."
PwC's Oracle Practice professionals have participated in Oracle's In-depth Structured Product Training program, covering Functional Business Applications and Technical Foundation Architecture training focused on application co-existence, customization, and deployment leading practices. "Our participation in the training programs has led to suggestions to the Oracle development team for new features and usability recommendations derived from our extensive experience working with HCM clients," said Staley.
PwC additionally has signed a co-development agreement with Oracle to design and develop specific non-financial components of the new Oracle Fusion Workforce Lifecycle Manager (WLM) product. WLM is a new product for Oracle Fusion HCM that leverages the standard features of Oracle's Business Process Management (BPM) and Activity Guide products to deliver leading practice composite business processes. These processes integrate with standardized content components sourced from Oracle Fusion and non-Fusion applications. One of the priority composite processes is "worker on-boarding" which will dramatically improve employee engagement and time to productivity.
Added Staley, "PwC is teaming with Oracle to co-develop multiple non-financial onboarding components that integrate WLM with PeopleSoft Enterprise HRMS and non-Oracle products. In addition, PwC is developing its own implementation templates and leading practices to help clients rapidly adopt this exciting new capability."
"PwC has demonstrated its commitment to helping clients effectively leverage Oracle Fusion HCM implementations and is among the leading providers of Fusion HCM," said Gretchen Alarcon, vice president of HCM Product Strategy, Oracle. "PwC's Oracle Practice has begun one of our first early adopter implementations of Oracle Fusion Talent Management, and is helping the early adopter client to deploy key modules of Oracle Fusion Talent Management."
