QBE's Gina Papush Selected as One of the Business Insurance 2016 Women to Watch

NEW YORK, Dec. 13, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Gina Papush, Global Chief Analytics & Data Officer for QBE Insurance Group, was named as one of the Business Insurance 2016 Women to Watch. The honorees will be recognized at the Women to Watch leadership conference and awards luncheon on December 13 in New York City. Profiles of the 2016 honorees are published in the December edition of Business Insurance.

Business Insurance started the Women to Watch awards program in 2006 to recognize women leaders doing outstanding work in risk management and commercial insurance. Business Insurance readers nominate candidates for Women to Watch, and a panel of Business Insurance editors select the honorees based on those nominations. Nominations are evaluated on four criteria: recent professional accomplishments, expertise, leadership and future career prospects.

During her 20-year career, Ms. Papush successfully built innovative decision analytic and information management solutions across diverse industries and business models, delivering significant business results. She was Head of Mortgage Decision Management at Citigroup's Global Consumer Banking unit and held leadership positions within financial services and consulting industries. A former member of the Executive Board for Fulcrum Analytics, she holds a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from Kharkov University in Ukraine, and an M.S. in Statistics from the University of Maryland.
