(NYSE: QTS) today announced the commencement of an underwritten public offering of 5,000,000 shares of its Class A common stock. The Company intends to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase an aggregate of up to an additional 750,000 shares of common stock at the public offering price.
The Company intends to use the net proceeds of the offering for general corporate purposes, including to repay amounts outstanding under its unsecured revolving credit facility.
The offering is being made pursuant to an effective shelf registration statement previously filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on March 28, 2016. A prospectus supplement relating to the offering will be filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
