Quantum Receives CNG Fuel System Orders from Wisconsin-Based Bulk Carrier
LAKE FOREST, Calif., Sept. 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Quantum Fuel Systems Technologies Worldwide, Inc. (NASDAQ: QTWW), a global leader in natural gas storage systems, integration, and vehicle system technologies, today announced that it recently received orders for its Q-CabLITE™ and Q-RailLITE™ CNG storage modules with a combined total of approximately $0.7 million from a new customer, Time Transport Inc., a same-day freight transportation company based in Racine, Wisconsin.

Quantum's Q-CabLITE and Q-RailLITE CNG storage modules are integrated CNG fuel systems for heavy-duty truck applications. The Q-CabLITE product line is installed behind the cab allowing for a larger capacity of CNG. The Q-RailLITE product line is installed on the traditional open rail-space of the truck. Both systems have integral fuel receptacle(s), pressure gauge, safety systems (including shut-off valves), pressure relief device(s), pressure sensors and fuel metering subsystems (including pressure regulator and thermal management). Both modules also contain Quantum's proprietary, ultra-light Q-Lite® CNG storage cylinder, which minimizes weight while increasing fuel capacity.
