Quarterly Juvenile Justice Meeting Focuses On Programs For Youth Leaving Juvenile Detention *****MEDIA ADVISORY*****
WASHINGTON, July 25, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- During a quarterly meeting, the Coordinating Council on Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (Council) will discuss reducing recidivism and improving other key outcomes for youth as well as reentry programs for youth exiting juvenile detention.
The Council, composed of representatives from 12 federal agencies and nine practitioners, coordinates federal delinquency prevention programs, federal programs and activities that detain or care for unaccompanied juveniles and federal programs relating to missing and exploited children.
