Quest Diagnostics Sustainability Efforts Earn Place on DJSI World and National Indices for Over Twelve Years

MADISON, N.J., Sept. 16, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Quest Diagnostics (NYSE: DGX), the world's leading provider of diagnostic information services, was named for the twelfth consecutive year in the North America Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) and for a thirteenth year in the World DJSI.

The Dow Jones Sustainability Index provides an integrated assessment of companies based on economic, environmental and social criteria with a strong focus on long-term shareholder value. To be included or remain in the index, companies must meet a high level of performance related to a comprehensive set of sustainability metrics.

Quest Diagnostics was one of only eight Health Care Equipment and Services companies listed on the Dow Jones Sustainability North America Index and one of only thirteen companies listed on the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index in the same category.
