NEW YORK, April 16, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Radius Global Market Research (Radius GMR), a leading global market research firm, has promoted industry veteran Bari Weinhausen to Director of Qualitative Research, U.S. The appointment is in response to the growing demand for qualitative research in the U.S. Weinhausen is based in Palm Beach, Florida, and reports to Radius GMR Managing Director Chip Lister.
In addition to leading Radius GMR's qualitative research practice in the United States, Weinhausen will spearhead efforts to develop and implement new research approaches utilizing both online and traditional techniques that help marketers' strategic decision-making related to venue, product mix, marketing issues and purchase behavior.

Weinhausen joined Profile Market Research, A Radius Company in 1995. She most recently served as Group Research Manager. Her experience crosses a diverse mix of sectors including travel and tourism, real estate, food and dining, health and beauty, CPG, alcoholic beverages, utilities, insurance, advertising, and media. She has conducted extensive ethnographic research including participant observation during the shopping experience in grocery and mass-market environments.
Weinhausen is a member of the Qualitative Research Consultants Association and has been recognized by The Professional Researcher Certification program for her unique qualifications and expertise in marketing and opinion research.
Weinhausen's appointment reflects Radius GMR's run of steady growth.
