Raritan Valley Community College Partners with ID Resolution to Provide Identity Theft Services to Students and Faculty and Staff
BRANCHBURG, N.J., Sept. 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Recognizing that college communities are increasingly the target of identity theft, Raritan Valley Community College has partnered with ID Resolution to offer peace of mind to full-time students, faculty and staff as part of an effort to protect them from the ever-increasing risk of identity theft. RVCC is providing ID Resolution's proprietary WRAP service to every victim or suspected victim of identity theft, allowing them unlimited access to a personal Fraud Specialist who will facilitate the resolution of virtually any identity related problem from start to finish.

According to the Federal Trade Commission, those age 29 years old and under were the largest Identity Theft complainant group in 2014 with 24% of total complaints. For many students, college is their first foray into an adult world full of newly realized responsibilities. Many are managing bank accounts and credit cards for the first time, dealing with medical insurers and paying bills online. This a world fraught with danger to their financial and personal well being as they learn the importance of security regarding passwords, personal information online, use of social media, using unprotected Wi-Fi networks and more.
