With more than three decades of experience in fighting the most serious cyber threats, Raytheon is expanding its reach by bringing its cyber expertise to the Fort Gordon area. The U.S. Army projects it will add 2,600 military, 900 civilian and 200 contractor jobs to Fort Gordon's workforce by 2019, and boost the post's student population by about 500 service members annually.
Fort Gordon is one of only a few military installations projected to grow over the next few years. Besides being the home of the Army Signal Regiment, it will continue to build the Army Cyber branch and school.
