Razuna 1.8 Turbocharges Digital Asset Management Search and Delivery
Open Source and Cloud Digital Asset Management provider, Razuna, adds new features to its DAM Software to allow enterprises to search and download digital assets faster than ever.
HOUSTON, Jan. 26, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Razuna, the leading provider of open source and cloud based digital asset management software, today announced the release of version 1.8. The release adds a separate search server to Razuna, adding a new level of speed and robustness to the search process. Another 180 improvement has also been added.

Razuna has also experienced a dramatic increase in the amount of video being uploaded and downloaded and has refactored the download delivery, so the memory and latency footprint is minimized to provide faster downloads. Since Razuna offers multiple deployment methods, cloud, on-premise, hybrid and private cloud, the integration to Amazon S3 has also been improved to support multi-uploads, which benefits customers, who need to upload large video files.

As well as adding a new search server and improving download speed, the Razuna team has made another 180 improvements to the code.
All Razuna's existing customers will be upgraded to Razuna 1.8 as part of their service agreement. Open source users may download the new version from www.razuna.org.
