Red Rocks Century Charity Bike Tour Set for August 10
Gold Sponsor Wilier Donating $5000 Zero9 Bike
DENVER, May 6, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Red Rocks Century charity bike event, formerly known as The Healing Wheels Tour, has announced its newest sponsor for the Aug. 10, 2013 ride. Wilier, a preeminent Italian bicycle maker, has joined the sponsorship roster as the Gold Level. As part of its sponsorship, Wilier has donated a complete Zero9 bicycle valued at $5,000, to be given away as a post-ride door prize.

The Red Rock Century tour, which benefits several local charities including Hope Communities, Colfax Community Network, Young Life and The Bridge Project, features three different scenic climbing ride options ranging in length from 53 to 106 miles.
The true century route is both scenic and challenging through Front Range landmarks and mountain towns including Dinosaur Ridge, Red Rocks Park, Bear Creek Canyon, Idledale, Kittredge, Kerr Gulch, Squaw Pass Road, Evergreen Lake, Brook Forest Inn and Evergreen. Ride options include the Century Route (106 miles), the Metric Century Route (62 miles), and the Challenge Route (53 miles). All ride options start and end at Red Rocks Elementary School in Morrison.
