Redbox recently announced a national kiosk expansion that will add 1,500 net new rental kiosks in 2017, with more planned for 2018. By the end of this year, Redbox will have more than 41,500 kiosks nationwide, a total larger than the number of Starbucks' and McDonald's locations in the U.S. combined.
