RelayRides Unveils Souped-Up Mobile App for Travelers Ahead of Peak Season

SAN FRANCISCO, April 23, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Leading peer-to-peer car rental marketplace, RelayRides, announced a major redesign of its iPhone app ahead of the busy summer travel season to make renting cars easier, faster and more reliable than ever. The improvements to the mobile experience on the iOS app are expected to accelerate revenue growth, which has increased by 3x over the last year and by 10x since 2012.

Currently ranked in the top 50 for travel apps in the App Store, improvements to the RelayRides iOS app include a complete redesign of the member dashboard for owners and renters, streamlined booking, support for committed requests and full international driver on-boarding. International travelers can now sign-up for RelayRides and book a rental entirely from the app. New improvements to the iOS app and online marketplace are critical next-steps in RelayRides' continued US growth, improved international renter experience and eventual expansion into international markets.
