Relevant Public Relations Founder Barton Horowitz To be Heralded as a 'King of Staten Island'
Event to benefit Kids Against Cancer and the Seton Foundation
STATEN ISLAND, N.Y., May 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Barton Horowitz, founder and president of Staten Island-headquartered Relevant Public Relations LLC will be lauded as a "King of Staten Island" during a celebration honoring top Staten Island men for their outstanding leadership and contributions to the community.
The Kings of Staten Island Awards & Networking Event will take place June 9, 6 to 9 p.m., at the Hilton Garden Inn, Bloomfield, Staten Island.
The gathering will feature networking among many of the borough's top professionals, an expo showcasing some of the area's leading businesses, and a charity raffle benefitting Kids Against Cancer and the Seton Foundation.
An estimated 400-plus business people are expected to attend the event, which is hosted by Schneps Communications, Star Network. Presenting sponsor is North Shore LIJ, Staten Island University Hospital.

Horowitz is an active member and past president of the South Shore Rotary Club; a Rotary International Paul Harris Fellow and former community service chair for Rotary District 7230; affiliate member, Staten Island Board of Realtors; associate member, Home Improvement Contractors of Staten Island; Advisory Board member, Small Business Development Center at the College of Staten Island; co-chair, Staten Island Chamber of Commerce Marketing Committee, and a member of Arden Heights Jewish Center. He has served on the boards of various local organizations, such as Alzheimer's Foundation of Staten Island, On Your Mark and Project Hospitality.
Horowitz and his wife, Ellen, celebrated their 43rd anniversary in January. The couple have two children, Stacy Ciccarelli and Stephanie Horowitz; son-in-law, Charles Ciccarelli, whom they look upon as a son, and three grandchildren.
