NEW ORLEANS, May 23, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Rene Bistrot, one of the most savory New Orleans French restaurants, recently announced the release of its revamped lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch menus, all featuring returned favorites from the original Rene Bistrot.
"When I reopened Rene Bistrot almost a year ago, I was thrilled to give our guests a menu with a fresh take on the culmination of southern cooking with traditional French dishes," said French Master Chef Rene Bajeux. "But we continued to have guests come in and request their favorite dishes from our original restaurant. Our team of chefs worked together to create a new menu that we believe is true to our roots but still brings our diner's favorites back to New Orleans."
The new menus introduce 14 French-bistro-style dishes combined with the traditions and ingredients from southeast Louisiana. After guests continued to request dishes that they knew and loved from the original Rene Bistrot, Chef Bajeux decided it was time to redesign his menus with tradition in mind.
The new menu will continue to change seasonally, including daily-changing lunch specials, and Chef Bajeux will continue to offer the house-made House Charcuterie Variety of Pate, Rillette, and Pickled Vegetables.
Hotel guests can experience the new menu first-hand with the Dining in New Orleans Package. Unique among New Orleans vacation packages, this succulent offer includes deluxe accommodations and a $50 dining credit to Rene Bistrot.
