Rent the Runway Appoints Koda Wang Chief Customer Officer

Former Huffington Post Executive Joins Rapidly Expanding Rental Platform

NEW YORK, Feb. 2, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Rent the Runway (www.renttherunway.com), the tech-driven fashion rental company, announces the expansion of its executive team with the appointment of Koda Wang as its first Chief Customer Officer.

In his new role, Wang will oversee the end-to-end customer experience at Rent the Runway, leading the Marketing, Customer Service, and business model evolution divisions and reporting to CEO Jennifer Hyman.

Previously, Wang was Chief Operating Officer at The Huffington Post, where he oversaw domestic and international priorities across a company of 850 staff. Prior to his role as COO, he was General Manager of The Huffington Post's international business, driving the site's global expansion to 15 markets that comprise over half of its overall audience. Prior to HuffPost, he was a consultant at Booz & Company.
