PORTLAND, Ore., Nov. 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- RENTRAK CORPORATION (NASDAQ: RENT), the leader in multi-screen media measurement serving the advertising, television and entertainment industries, today announced the company has signed a multi-year StationView Essentials contract with Landmark Media Enterprises' KLAS-TV. The signing marks a major milestone for Rentrak, with KLAS-TV being the 200th station that has subscribed to Rentrak's Local TV ratings service.
With this new deal, the CBS affiliate is the second station in the Las Vegas market to subscribe to Rentrak's local TV ratings service, and joins Rentrak client stations that recognize Rentrak's TV measurement of both household and consumer demographic viewing behaviors is a better way to monetize their stations.
