Rep. Fattah's Statement on Encouraging Jobs Report

WASHINGTON, March 8, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Congressman Chaka Fattah (D-PA-02), the ranking House Democratic Appropriator for the Department of Commerce, releases this statement about today's unemployment report:

"The steady rebound of our economy is picking up the pace. Almost a quarter million more Americans found work in the past month – 236,000 in fact. The unemployment rate fell to 7.7 percent, a four-year low. President Obama, as he works to install a new economic team, continues to demonstrate a successful formula toward economic growth. It's up to Congress to break our impasse, pass the President's jobs bill and move this recovery up another notch."
