China has entered the peak season for the planting of many crops such as rice, corn, cotton, etc. The planting area of cotton and corn is expected to witness increase in 2011 driven by the soaring price. However the planting area of soybean may witness decrease, because peasants make less money for the planting of it.

The bad news for peasants is that the prices of rice seed, corn seed and cotton seed have soared a lot in 2011.
