David Meisner will serve as general manager where he will oversee the hotel's daily operations and sales efforts. Meisner is a 12-year industry veteran, most recently serving as the assistant general manager at the Cincinnati Marriott North. Vicky Hild has more than 20 years in the hospitality industry and joins the hotel from Marriott International where she was an area sales leader. Hild has been named sales account manager for the Cincinnati hotel and will be responsible for group sales, extended stays, preferred accounts and community relations.

Owned by Western Southern Financial Group and Eagle Realty and managed by WHI, the hotel is slated to open in April 2011 and is a conversion of the historic Phelps building which dates back to 1926. The building has long-standing ties in the community and is surrounded by historic points of interest including the Taft Museum, which was once the homestead of Charles Phelps Taft, the half brother of William Howard Taft, 27th President of the United States. The all-suite, extended stay hotel's 134 one- and two-bedroom suites will offer some of downtown's largest guest rooms, most with expansive views. Each suite will feature separate living and work spaces, a fully-equipped kitchen, complimentary high-speed Internet access, a work desk with ergonomic seating and flat panel high-definition TVs.
