SEATTLE, June 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Seattle based Restaurants Unlimited, a national multi-concept operator, announced on Tuesday that industry veteran Chris Harter has been selected to lead the company as its chief executive officer.
Harter is the former President of Levy Restaurants, where he led their restaurant division and developed and operated over thirty concepts from coast to coast. These included award winning restaurants such as Spiaggia and Bistro 110 in Chicago, Fulton's Crab House and Wolfgang Puck Grand Cafe in Orlando and many others. Most recently, Harter was the co-founder and chief executive officer of Houston based Legacy Restaurants.

Restaurants Unlimited operates forty-six restaurants under fourteen brands. Its diverse concepts offer a variety of dining experiences, from casual neighborhood restaurants to full-service fine dining. Single location brands include Portland City Grill, Palisade, Scott's, Skates, and Henry's Tavern. Multi-unit brands include Kincaid's, Palomino Restaurant and Bar and Stanford's. The restaurants are located in eleven states, including Alaska and Hawaii, with the majority in Oregon and Washington.
Restaurants Unlimited was founded in 1969 and is owned by private equity firm Sun Capital Partners.
