Retention of Mortgage Servicing Company Approved for Community Home Financial Services, Inc.
JACKSON, Miss., June 26, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Kristina M. Johnson, Chapter 11 Trustee of the bankruptcy Estate of Community Home Financial Services, Inc., is pleased to announce that the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Mississippi has approved her retention of Vantium Capital, Inc. (doing business as Acqura Loan Services) to service mortgage loans on behalf of the bankruptcy Estate. Ms. Johnson's appointment as Trustee was approved by order entered on January 21, 2014, following the revelation in pleadings filed with the Bankruptcy Court that certain of Community Home's principals had removed substantial sums of money from bankruptcy escrow accounts and the company's books and records and set up an "alternate" operation in Latin America.
Ms. Johnson, with Bankruptcy Court approval, has been servicing the company's loans on an interim basis since her appointment. With the arrest of the Community Home Financial Services, Inc. principal and the retention of Vantium Capital, Inc. to service the company's loans, Ms. Johnson is now focusing on other investigatory duties and operational issues in her role as the Chapter 11 Trustee for the company.
Moving forward Vantium Capital, Inc. (http://www.acqurals.com/) will service loans for Community Home Financial Services, Inc. The company, headquartered in Frisco, Texas, is an experienced loan servicing company that is licensed in all fifty states and specializes in the kinds of loans formerly serviced by Community Home.
Community Home borrowers will soon receive letters from the Trustee with an introduction letter to Vantium. To ensure a prompt response, Vantium has established a toll free phone number 877-457-0034 especially dedicated to questions relating to Community Home loans. Other information regarding the Community Home case and direct links to Vantium may be found on the Community Home Financial Services website: www.communityhomefinancial.com. Vantium is also in the process of changing its name, and, as of July 1, 2014, the company will be known as ClearSpring Loan Services Inc.
