Retired General Duncan J. McNabb joins A.T. Kearney's Public Sector and Defense Services Board

Will Bring Experience Managing DoD Transportation and Logistics Worldwide to Leading Consulting Firm

ARLINGTON, Va., Jan. 8, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Global management consulting firm A.T. Kearney announced today that Ret. General Duncan McNabb has joined its Public Sector and Defense Services (PSDS) Board, bringing his deep experience managing the Department of Defense's (DoD) transportation and logistics operations as the former head of the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM).  Gen. McNabb has led USTRANSCOM's mission to provide air, land and sea transportation for the Department of Defense around the world.  He will bring his rich expertise to A.T. Kearney's consulting practice, to help transportation and logistics operations at all levels to meet their mission critical goals effectively and efficiently. 

A graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, Gen. McNabb has held command and staff positions at squadron, group, wing, and major command and Department of Defense levels. Prior to commanding USTRANSCOM, Gen McNabb served as the Director of Logistics on the Joint Staff, Commanded the Air Mobility Command, and was the Vice Chief of Staff of the Air Force.
