MINEOLA, Texas, April 11, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Retreat in the Pines, a 30-acre retreat center hosting women's retreats since 2004, is excited to announce a partnership with the East Texas Veterans Resource Center, offering female veterans a safe place to find healing and renewal.
The partnership, in cooperation with the Retreat in the Pines Retreat Assistance Program, afforded five female veterans from the East Texas area the opportunity to attend a Retreat in the Pines Yoga Nurture Retreat. While there, they enjoyed home cooked meals, renewing yoga, time in nature and connection with other women.
Theresa Polley, owner and founder of Retreat in the Pines, established the Retreat Assistance program because she believes that it's essential for ALL women to have the opportunity to retreat, no matter their background or financial means.
"Thank you for the opportunity to come to a retreat to let our hair down, relax, eat good food and learn how to love on ourselves in the most gentle ways," said Trina Malloy, Outreach Coordinator and Grace after Fire Peer Navigator for East Texas Veterans Resource Center.
About Retreat in the Pines: Retreat in the Pines specializes in yoga retreats for ALL women. Regardless of background, age, fitness ability or income.
