RFID Journal LIVE! Europe to Host RFID in Europe 2013 This year's LIVE! Europe conference, to be held on Oct. 15 in London, will be co-located with RFID in Europe, bringing together the end-user and RFID vendor communities.
NEW YORK, May 23, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- RFID Journal announced today that it will feature a co-located event at its 10th European event, RFID Journal LIVE! Europe (www.rfidjournalevents.com/europe). The co-located event, RFID in Europe (www.rfidineurope.eu), is designed to promote the adoption of radio frequency identification (RFID) technologies, and to connect European end users and solution providers. Both events will be held on Oct. 15, 2013, at the Dexter House in London, England.
RFID in Europe AISBL is a not-for-profit organization established in 2012. Its principle goal is to promote the adoption of RFID and related technologies, enabling small and medium-size organizations throughout Europe to gain competitive advantage through their best use. RFID in Europe connects with European end users, operators, solution providers, universities, research establishments, non-government and government organizations, and all other European stakeholders, through its own initiatives and the promotion of national projects via its international network. RFID in Europe is an extension of a European Commission FP7 Thematic Network, known as RACE Network RFID, initiated in 2009.
"RFID in Europe is an important event that brings together leading members of the RFID community in Europe to discuss ways to foster adoption," said Stephane Pique, a member of RFID in Europe's management board responsible for events. "Being co-located with RFID Journal LIVE! Europe will help foster communication among end users and vendors, and help educate our audience regarding the issues that need to be addressed."
LIVE! Europe, the premier RFID event in Europe, focuses on educating end users about how RFID technology is delivering real business benefits across Europe. This one-day program will share how to attain the full benefits of RFID, and provide companies with a greater understanding of how the technology can be used to improve efficiencies, enhance visibility, reduce shrinkage and achieve other significant business benefits. Furthermore, LIVE! Europe will connect attendees with leading end users, industry experts and solution providers offering the latest RFID systems.
"We are very excited about adding RFID in Europe to LIVE! Europe," said Mark Roberti, RFID Journal's founder and editor. "This broadens both events, and will deliver greater value to attendees at both conferences."
