Rich Feuer Anderson Announces Rachel Goldberg to Join Firm as Vice President
Latest Hire in Growing Firm
WASHINGTON, Sept. 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Rich Feuer Anderson, LLC today announced that Rachel Goldberg has joined the firm as a Vice President. Ms. Goldberg came to Rich Feuer Anderson from Goldman Sachs, where she focused on a broad cross-section of issues related to the Dodd-Frank Act, energy policy and strategic commercial opportunities in the energy sector. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Ms. Goldberg worked at Prism Public Affairs, designing and implementing strategic communications plans for clients. In her new role, Rachel will act in lobbying, communications and business development capacities, and will also work to expand and serve the firm's energy practice. She will additionally cover hearings and communicate with key Congressional and Administration staff, as well as leverage her strategic communications background by acting as an in-house writer, developing important communications for clients. Ms. Goldberg joins the growing firm closely on the heels of John Anderson, who came to the firm from Credit Suisse in June.
"Rachel's background, and her keen understanding of politics and policy, make her uniquely positioned to help our clients," said Peter Rich, founding principal of Rich Feuer Anderson. "She understands the financial services industry, and has a depth of knowledge of energy policy and markets, an area of focus for our clients and a potential growth opportunity for the firm."
"I am looking forward to working with Rachel," said Mitchell Feuer, also a founding principal. "Among many other valuable assets, her familiarity with the Dodd-Frank Act, gained through her work developing Goldman Sachs' advocacy strategy and rapid response efforts, will be extremely useful in providing clients with important legislative, political and corporate insights as they continue to navigate the implementation of the Act."
"Rachel will be vital in helping us serve our growing roster of clients," partner John Anderson added. "She truly stands out among her peers in her level of professionalism, and the depth and breadth of her experience. And in addition to her years in financial services and energy policy, she has experience in a more traditional communications firm. Our clients will benefit from her excellent written and strategic communications skills."
Rich Feuer Anderson's expanding list of clients includes international and commercial investment banks, leading asset management firms, securities and commodities exchanges, clearinghouses and electronic payments companies, as well as a global accounting firm. The firm is a unique model, consisting entirely of senior lobbying professionals. Its team also includes Managing Director Tara Foscato, a former Special Assistant to the Board of Governors at the Federal Reserve System.
