Richard Serbin Joins Prime Access Advisory Board
Award-winning health & wellness marketing agency expands its growth strategy internationally
NEW YORK, Sept. 29, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Prime Access, a New York-based health and wellness marketing agency, announced today that Richard Serbin, a pharmaceutical industry veteran and visionary, joined its Advisory Board. Serbin will work closely with the agency's executive leadership and the 9.8 Group, its holding company, in bolstering Prime Access' domestic capabilities by developing in-house vaccine marketing specialization, aggregating the agency expertise into a new consulting practice, and expanding the growth strategy internationally.
Richard is a global strategy advisor and entrepreneur with credentials both in pharmacy and law, complemented by more than 40 years of service as an FDA regulatory attorney and patent attorney in the healthcare industry. During his corporate career Richard worked for such prominent industry leaders as Schering-Plough, Revlon Corporation, and Johnson & Johnson.
"We are really excited about Richard's addition to the Advisory Board," said Prime Access CEO, Chip Weinstein. "He is without doubt one of the true industry thought leaders, whose insight, experience, and network are crucial for the agency at this juncture. He will play a vital role as we begin to roll out new consultancy services based on the years of total market and cross-cultural model marketing expertise in Prime Access, and the methodologies developed by the 9.8 Group."
While at J&J, Richard served on the Board of Directors of 16 US and international subsidiary companies, including Ethicon, Ortho, J&J Consumer Products, Pittman-Moore, Mc Neil, and J&J Development Corporation. He was J&J's Vice President of Corporate Development, and later led a successful public offering venture based on technology developed at Stanford Medical School.
Richard spent a large portion of his career focusing on international markets and clients. He worked on multiple international acquisitions and strategic relationships, and sat on the Board of Directors of several of its international subsidiaries, including those in India, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, Germany, and England.
"Richard's addition to Prime Access' Advisory Board is an important milestone for the agency," said Givi Topchishvili, Founder and President of the 9.8 Group. "Prime Access has been undergoing rapid growth in the past year. The types of services we now provide to our clients demands a new degree of sophistication that was not required of a regular marketing agency. Richard's hands-on experience with the FDA regulatory and patent process, as well as his deep international network is putting Prime Access on the fast track to continue its expansion strategy."
For the last 10 years, Richard has been a Senior Advisor to the Swedish American Life Science Summit (SALSS), held annually in Stockholm, Sweden. SALSS is the premiere healthcare summit in the Scandinavian region and brings together major researchers from healthcare companies and investment communities from all over the world. He also consults for governmental agencies in Brazil, Japan, Canada, and China.
