MADISON, Wis., July 29 /PRNewswire/ -- RMT, Inc. (RMT), a leading energy and environment company, has named R. M. (Pat) Patrick Regional Air Pollution Control Market Director for the Gulf Coast.

Over the last several years, RMT has experienced expanding needs, particularly for air-related services, throughout the Gulf Coast Region. Patrick will be responsible for helping RMT to manage and grow the company's air pollution control services to this market.

"Pat is intimately familiar with the Federal and Texas Clean Air Acts and has experience providing air quality services to industrial clients throughout the Gulf Coast," said Dave Seitz, RMT Director of Air Quality. "His unique insight into environmental regulations, combined with his experience working with petrochemical, utility, chemical manufacturing, and cement clients, fills an important role as RMT continues to serve the Gulf Coast region."

Patrick is a seasoned environmental professional with a 25-year history working in air quality and compliance-related environmental work. Prior to joining RMT, he served as president of an air consulting and engineering firm, providing air quality services for industrial clients throughout the Gulf Coast, and vice president of IT Corporation, where he managed EHS management for the Southern region. Patrick has conducted a wide range of air permitting, emission inventories, air dispersion modeling, expert testimony, and compliance assessment projects for industrial clients.

Patrick holds a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Tennessee, an M.S. in Chemical Engineering from Vanderbilt University, and a J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center. He is a registered Professional Engineer with the State of Texas and a registered Attorney with the State Bar of Texas.
