Roanwell Enhances Product Line With Handset Purchase

BRONX, N.Y., March 17, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Roanwell Corporation ("Roanwell"), est. 1948, a leading designer and manufacturer of rugged communications equipment, today announced the purchase of Star Dynamic Corporation's H-207, H-250, and H-350 Handset product lines and operations.  Roanwell intends to manufacture the handsets at its Bronx, NY facility.  The handsets will be offered under the Roanwell brand.

The H-207, H-250, and H-350 Microphone-Receiver Handsets are used for tactical field communications requirements.  The rugged construction is designed and manufactured to meet U.S. Military Specifications and is normally utilized with Military Man-Pack Radio Equipment, such as the AN/PRC-70 and AN/PRC-77.

Roanwell Corporation specializes in manufacturing headsets, handsets, microphones, earphones, cords, harnesses, and accessories for military and commercial communications.  The acquisition of the Handset product lines continue Roanwell's expansion and growth.
