LOS ANGELES, Feb. 25, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Scali Law Firm today announced that Robert C. Mizar has joined the Firm as a partner in its Los Angeles office.  Bob is a long-time dealer advocate, and he will add his litigation and trial experience and auto dealer F&I compliance advice and counsel expertise to those firm practice areas.

"Bob has an outstanding reputation in the auto dealer industry in California," said founding member, Christian Scali.  "Bob's experience advising dealerships has given him a deep understanding of the auto dealer retail sales industry in the sales and finance compliance arena."

Bob has achieved much success defending dealer's in-house automobile rental subsidiaries in claims based upon the negligence of its renters.  This specialized and underutilized area of the law is something that he enjoys employing when possible to eliminate the dealer's exposure to vicarious liability claims.

Bob also brings a significant amount of personal injury and property damage defense experience that will further round out the firm's dealer litigation representation, complementing the firm's consumer, employment, franchise and business litigation practice areas.

The Scali Law Firm is a California auto dealer law firm, offering transactional, regulatory and litigation services at reasonable rates or for a modified flat fee as part of its outside general counsel service.  The firm was named a Top Boutique Law Firm in California by The Daily Journal last year, an honor reserved for only 25 law firms in the entire state. It was the only law firm chosen in the automotive category.  The Scali Law Firm's attorneys are thought leaders in the automotive industry, often called upon to provide their opinions on new and trending issues on auto distribution and franchise, F&I, employment and advertising issues. The Scali Law Firm also drafted the CNCDA's 2015 Advertising Law Manual, providing auto dealers with practical guidance on advertising practices.
