Robin Ritenour Joins Marketo as Senior Vice President of Business Development

Ritenour brings wealth of partnership and alliances experience from Adobe, Salesforce, and SAP

SAN MATEO, Calif., March 17, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Marketo, Inc. (NASDAQ: MKTO), the leading provider of engagement marketing software and solutions, today announced the appointment of Robin Ritenour as senior vice president of Business Development. In this role, Ritenour will lead the company's Business Development, Strategic Alliances, and Partner teams to drive success, customer value, and innovation with Marketo's partner ecosystem and extend the company's market leadership. Ritenour is based in New York and will report to Chairman and CEO Phil Fernandez.

Ritenour brings more than 25 years of experience building partner strategies and managing disruptive business models at SaaS (Software as a Service) and marketing companies as well as major brands such as BMG Entertainment, Lehman Brothers, and Goldman Sachs.

Prior to Marketo, Ritenour held several leadership positions, notably vice president of Partner Strategy and Alliances at Adobe and vice president, Strategic Alliances and GTM at Salesforce. In those roles, she modelled for growth and innovation with and through partners. Before Salesforce, Ritenour spent five years at SAP as global director of Strategic Alliances and in a director role with SAP Global Marketing.

Ritenour started her career at Goldman Sachs and Lehman Brothers in equity and commodity derivative products and markets. She also spent several years at BMG Entertainment in IT supporting marketing, collaboration, and financial applications as the company transformed to enable a digital model. Ritenour holds a B.S.E. in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University.
