Food For Thought Denver provides provisions for meals to elementary school children and families at four of Denver's low-income schools in order to bridge the hunger gap between meals the kids receive during the week as part of school subsidy program. Proceeds from the Rock-A-Belly Festival will add two additional schools to the four the program currently supports.

"More than 26,000 school children in the Denver Public School System live in food-insecure households," said Bob Bell, co-founder of Food For Thought Denver. "Rock-A-Belly is a major fundraiser for our charity designed to combat this problem and enables us to raise all the funds needed to support our local efforts, now in its fourth year."
