RocNation Songstress Bridget Kelly Attends Launch Of Dinner On Ludlow

NEW YORK, Oct. 18, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Last night, Dinner on Ludlow at The DL, launched with a special press preview with famed Executive Chef, John Keller.  100 members of local and national media, as well as friends and family of the venue, sipped innovative cocktails and tasted dishes from the newly created American Bistro Menu.


Joining the celebration was Roc Nation's recording artist, Bridget Kelly, who has most recently been seen hosting the red carpet for BETs Black Girls Rock Awards.

Guests were treated to a tasting menu consisting of Kale Caesar Crostini, Braised Chicken Meatballs with Sweet Chili Sauce, Beef Sliders with Red Chili Aioli, and Foie Gras Toast with Pearl Onion Marmalade, Bone Marrow Toasts, Crusted Calamari in Butter Lettuce Cups, Steak Tartare on Fried Green Tomato, Tuna Tartare on Wontons and Lamb Shank with Mashed Potatoes. 

Newly created cocktails by Dinner on Ludlow's in house mixologist were featured, A Cucumber Martini, Lychee Mule, and the signature Ludlow Marg served as the perfect spirits companions to the passed fare.

I met Chef John Keller, whose enthusiasm for creating a home cooked meal experience was genuine and contagious. We were greeted with familiar warmth as soon as we walked in. The food was great. The steak tartare was phenomenal, very simple but delicious, as was the lamb w/mashed potato dish. I love the ambiance in there; the chandeliers, dim lighting & rustic mirrors were classy & warm. It felt very French but also very true downtown NYC. They were great hosts and super sweet people. That's my new spot, for sure."
