The fashion-forward collection is inspired by times of joy, optimism and prosperity, defined by the 1920's fabulous flapper looks in TV shows like Downton Abbey and timeless Hollywood celebrities of the 1950's like Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly.
The 20's flapper look inspired Clara's integration of low-waistlines, low volume skirts made of several layers of silky tulle, sheath dresses with crystal and silver art deco beading and silk organdie handkerchief skirts that cascade down and are thoughtfully finished with a 'vintage' hemstitch. She decorated the bodices with intricate embroidery and lace details on translucent tulle, drawing beautiful shapes on the bride's skin.
The 50's look is created with voluminous dresses structured with wide princess skirts and minimal bodices expressed in noble fabrics such as silk mikado, ottoman or brocades detailed with haute couture bows, hem-stitches, embroidered flowers and precious stones to highlight the feminine silhouette and also alternative looks that includes the 50's-style pedal pushers. These looks are embellished with accessories such as short gloves and bolero jackets to make the 50's fantasy complete.
The new collection creates an optical illusion triggered by the choice of fabrics that are as subtle and delicate as the bride herself. These sophisticated creations have materialized in an elegant yet sexy collection, which is also practical by including pockets.
