CHICAGO and NEW YORK, March 9, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Rosenthal Collins Group LLC (RCG®), a leading independent futures clearing firm, announced today the appointment of Hilton T. Sheng to the new position of President, Structured Products Division. Sheng, who joins RCG with more than 30 years of futures industry experience, will operate out of the New York office and build on the company's newly established expertise in structured products.

The RCG Structured Products Division will help commercial, hedger and end-user clients manage price risk and volatility through the use of customized risk strategies leveraging cleared, financially settled products on the CME ClearPort and ICE platforms as well as futures and options.
Prior to joining RCG, Sheng served as Senior Vice President, Structured Products, for R.J. O'Brien & Associates since 2011. He was a Director and Senior Energy Marketer for Hudson Capital Energy and served as a Vice President of Refco LLC, where he managed the firm's New York Institutional Energy Desk. He also worked on the Energy Futures desk as a Director and Vice President with ABN AMRO Inc, UBS and PVM Oil Associates, Inc., and served as Energy Analyst and broker for Cargill Investor Services as well as a partner of an energy hedge fund.
Over the course of his career, Sheng was an independent floor trader on COMEX and ran the soft commodities floor operation for Cargill. He also worked in operations for futures brokerage firms Dean Witter Reynolds Inc. and ED&F Man International.
Sheng received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, N.J.
