Vast scope of ST product range substantially increases semiconductor options for RS customers worldwide
RS Components (RS), the trading brand of Electrocomponents plc (LSE:ECM), the world's leading high-service distributor of electronics and maintenance products, has announced a global franchise agreement with STMicroelectronics, a semiconductor leader serving customers across the spectrum of electronics applications.
With immediate effect, RS will represent ST as an authorised reseller, stocking a broad array of products from the top-tier semiconductor company in its 17 warehouses across Europe, Asia and North America. ST's extensive portfolio includes analogue components, microcontrollers, MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical Systems) sensors such as accelerometers and gyroscopes, and power discretes.
