NEW YORK, May 24, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Ruder Finn Group today announced plans to form a new company, Finn Partners, under its umbrella organization. Peter Finn will be founder and managing partner of Finn Partners. He will continue to serve in his role as co-CEO of Ruder Finn, Inc. until Finn Partners officially launches as a separate company within Ruder Finn Group later this year.
Forming Finn Partners puts into action Finn's idea that an agency operating as a true partnership will foster an environment in which groups of independent-minded professionals join together to deliver the best in client service, creativity and results.

Finn Partners is being formed through the merger of nine Ruder Finn, Inc. business units. The firm will specialize in the full spectrum of public relations services, including digital and social media, for technology, consumer, travel/economic development, global issues, arts and public and corporate affairs. It will include approximately 160 team members and is projected to have approximately $25 million in fees in its first year of operation.
Finn Partners will be headquartered in Ruder Finn Group's New York City office. Ruder Finn Inc.'s existing Chicago, Washington D.C., San Francisco, Los Angeles and Israel offices will join the new entity. Finn Partners will share resources with other parts of Ruder Finn Group, and will continue to leverage international capabilities via the company's global network of offices and affiliates throughout the world.
