This program is focused on strategies for C-level executives, and HR and benefits professionals to improve their companies' financial positions through improvement of employee productivity and retention.
The NVTC HR & Benefits committee's mission is to create a community of members interested in sharing best practices, collaborating, learning about the latest advancements in human resource management, and staying informed on employee benefit issues including developments and requirements of the Affordable Care Act.
"Through the NVTC HR & Benefits Committee, we aim to help companies in our technology community learn best practices in human resources management," said NVTC President and CEO Bobbie Kilberg. "We are honored to have these successful HR professionals share their insights on the benefits of fostering a positive company culture. Their expertise is very valuable to the improvement of human resources strategies in this region and the technology market."
"The importance of retaining skilled employees cannot be overstated," said Kay Curling. "Beyond the cost of recruiting and training a new employee, there is also a negative impact on morale and productivity for team members. At Salient CRGT our continuing goal is to create the right culture and employment offerings to drive future success."
Ms. Curling is responsible for defining, developing, and implementing strategic HR initiatives aligned with Salient CRGT's core values, mission, and vision. Another major initiative is the company's Caring for Communities (C4C) program, inspiring employees to give back and help local communities.
"Kay is dedicated to improving the lives of not only Salient CRGT employees, but people throughout this industry," said Brad Antle, CEO of Salient CRGT. "Through her work with a number of professional organizations, she shares her knowledge and innovative ideas with her peers."
