Salient Federal Solutions Awarded Multiple Task Orders Under Navy MNS IDIQ Contract

FAIRFAX, Va., Feb. 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Salient Federal Solutions (Salient), a leading provider of information technology, engineering and intelligence analysis services, announced that over the fourth quarter of 2011 it has been awarded multiple Task Orders under an IDIQ prime contract to design and install Mass Notification System (MNS) Systems at Marine Corps bases worldwide. The projects are valued at greater than $3 million.

These systems are instrumental to rapidly disseminate important force protection condition (FPCON), base traffic, and weather information to base personnel and the affected neighboring population. They are also a critical element of the consolidated emergency response.
