New sales leadership in the West affirms Samsung Medison's commitment to grow its sales network

CYPRESS, Calif., Feb. 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Samsung Medison America welcomes Michael Podany as Vice President of Sales, West USA to fortify its growing sales network in the Western US. Mr. Podany will be responsible for developing and managing sales channels West of Mississippi and will report directly Mr. Brian Keith (GM, Director of Sales, USA).

Mr. Podany has demonstrated 18-plus years of consistent and proven results in creating, managing, and growing a new base of business in various markets.

His experience spans from managing territories to identifying emerging markets in Radiation Oncology, Ultrasound, Reproductive Medicine, and Surgical Equipment. Most notably, Mr. Podany spent 8 years at GE Healthcare, overseeing all aspects of ultrasound sales in the Western US. During his 18-plus year career, Mr. Podany has demonstrated his entrepreneurial leadership by accomplishing double-digit growth consistently throughout various segments.
