NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla., Nov. 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- On Sunday, November 17, four remarkable South Florida students were shocked to discover that, in addition to awards given by Sun Life, Rachel A. Sapoznik, CEO and President of Sapoznik Insurance and GetHealthQuote.com, generously provided each student an additional $2,500 scholarship to be used towards books, supplies and other educational expenses.

Sapoznik Insurance was honored to serve as a proud sponsor of the Sun Life Rising Stars Scholarship Program, celebrating the scholastic achievements of students within our local community.  

Vanessa Civil, Angel Lopez, Kimberly Sandino, and Rachelle Battle proudly displayed their giant checks at the Sun Life Stadium after having been presented the scholarships at The Award Ceremony in The Gallery of Legends. The students were then given access to the sidelines to watch the pregame warm-ups before the Miami Dolphins took on the visiting San Diego Chargers.
