Sarah Bradley Joins HM Capital Partners as Partner, Head of Fundraising and Investor Relations

DALLAS, Sept. 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- HM Capital Partners LLC today announced that Sarah Bradley has joined the firm as a Partner in charge of fundraising and investor relations.  Ms. Bradley joins from Investcorp, where she was a Managing Director and Global Head of Investor Relations & Fundraising.  

Ms. Bradley will take a leadership role in raising a new private equity fund focused exclusively on the food and consumer products sector, an area of particular strength and focus for HM Capital over the past two decades.  Earlier this year, the team was also strengthened by the return of Robert Sperry, who previously served the firm for seven years as an Operating Partner focused on food and consumer products investments.  HM Capital's senior investment team also includes John R. Muse, Andrew Rosen, Jason Downie and Edward Herring.

Ms. Bradley has more than 15 years of consumer investment banking and private equity experience.  Prior to joining Investcorp in 2008, she was a Managing Director at Deutsche Bank in New York in the Financial Sponsors Group and Consumer Group, where she was responsible for food and consumer investment banking and middle-market sponsor coverage, and a Director in the Global Consumer Group of the investment bank of Citigroup in New York.  She began her banking career as an Associate in the Mergers & Acquisitions department of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette.  During her investment banking career, she worked with HM Capital and other private equity firms on numerous transactions in the food and beverage and consumer products sector.

Robert Sperry Background

Mr. Sperry has 30 years of operating and investment experience in the food and consumer products industry.  He was previously a Partner with Brynwood Partners and served as an Operating Partner with Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst, HM Capital's predecessor, for seven years.  Prior to that, Mr. Sperry spent 17 years with Nestle in a wide range of general management roles.
