Sauce Hockey Presents: The Sauce Hockey Challenge

PHOENIX, Sept. 8, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Sauce Hockey today announced its collaboration with more than 20 National Hockey League (NHL) stars and television host Mike Kelly for the creation of the Sauce Hockey Challenge. Presented by Sauce Hockey and created by Kelly, the project will not only entertain fans but also enhance the charitable efforts of the league's players.

A series of short clips were filmed in anticipation of the 2015-16 season and will be viewable at www.saucehockey.com. The challenge affords each star with 10 chances to sauce their puck into a miniature hockey net. The player with the most goals earns the title of the 2015 Sauce Hockey Challenge Champion, and a very important check. On behalf of the winner, Sauce Hockey will donate $10,000 to the charity of his choice. A list of participants can be found below.

He has served as a host for both the NHL Network and TSN after giving up his dream of playing professional hockey when, at the age of 15, he realized he couldn't take a slapshot without falling down.

Sauce Hockey will keep fans updated via a live scoreboard as the competition progresses. The videos will commence on Sept. 9.
