Save on California's Great America Hotel Packages

SANTA CLARA, Calif., April 30, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Save on California's Great America theme park when you spend a night at one of six Santa Clara hotels. The discount packages represent an almost 50% savings over regular room and ticket cost. Hotel/theme park packages include one night's weekend accommodations and two California's Great America general admission tickets (extra tickets can be purchased at a discount at participating hotels). Participating hotels are Avatar Hotel, Biltmore Hotel & Suites, Embassy Suites Santa Clara, Hyatt Regency Santa Clara, Mariani's Inn and Restaurant, and the Santa Clara Marriott. Package prices start at $145. Sales tax is not included, and packages are subject to availability. Packages are good thru November 1, 2015.

For 2015, California's Great America will expand and rebrand the Planet Snoopy kids area. The entire area, formerly known as KidZville, has now morphed into the expanded Planet Snoopy. New rides will include Joe Cool's Gr8Sk8, Peanuts 500 and Snoopy's Space Buggies. Gr8Sk8 will be an interactive ride atop Snoopy's giant skateboard with the feeling of going off the edge. Peanuts 500 lets racers zoom around the track and slingshot around the track ends, while Snoopy's Space Buggies will lift astronauts into the air for a gravity defying lunar landing.
