Savi Provisions Uncorks a New Vintage of its Successful Urban Market Experience in Atlanta
Brand Unveils New Identity, Enhanced Offerings and Sophisticated Buckhead Location
ATLANTA, Jan. 16, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Savi Provisions, formerly known as Savi Urban Market, a regional purveyor of gourmet foods, fine wine and spirits, announces the next generation of the Savi brand, which includes a refreshing new store design and brand identity. Savi Provisions will introduce its new look and expanded experience with its Buckhead store, set to open February 2013. Located in the Tuxedo Shopping Center, Savi Provisions in Buckhead will feature a dedicated market with gourmet and organic food items, hard-to-find spirits, wine, beer and a dedicated tasting room for events and occasions.
The opening of the Buckhead location will mark the transition from Urban Market to the new Provisions brand for the existing Atlanta locations in Inman Park and Brookhaven. As an alternative to conventional super markets, Savi Provisions' patrons can expect a green and sustainable environment with friendly and knowledgeable staff.
"We are excited to take the Savi brand to the next level with the unveiling of Savi Provisions," explains Paul Nair, CEO of Savi Provisions. "Today's announcement results from a collaborative effort to create a more relevant and distinct "Dean and Deluca" style experience with online shopping options coming as well."
Savi's Commitment to the Atlanta Community
Atlanta is no stranger to the local foods movement with the resurgence of the local farmer and farmer's market, as well as the growing popularity of farm-to-table restaurants. Savi Provisions honors the renewed community commitment to understanding what consumers are eating and where it originates by stocking locally sourced, organic foods and specialty goods. As an integral part of the neighborhoods it serves and an enthusiast for the nostalgic purveyor of once forgotten generations, Savi Provisions is a neighborhood grocer that not only features a gourmet market with organic offerings, but also boasts a plentiful stash of small batch wines and spirits in addition to price accessible beverages.
"Our goal at Savi Provisions is to become a steward of local farms throughout the state of Georgia, enabling us to connect our customers with local farmers and source as many locally produced organic foods as we can," Nair adds. "We envision a similar commitment with our wine and spirits, offering our customers the unique opportunity to taste some of the best small production winemakers and rare spirit producers in the country. We expect no less than 200-plus tasting experiences a year as part of our commitment to educating the community's palette."
