The Sunset International Wine Competition Grand Tasting and Dinner is a new feature of Sunset Savor the Central Coast – the West Coast's premier wine and food event, which takes place Sept. 27-30, 2012 and offers four days of culinary adventures. Participants will enjoy the fruits of the best winemakers' labors, paired with internationally inspired cuisine by Pismo Beach's most accomplished chefs. The team of culinary masters will be led by marquis chef Gregg Wangard of the renowned Marisol restaurant at the Cliffs Resort in Pismo Beach. Wangard, along with Vons Executive Chef Jeff Anderson and their culinary colleagues from Splash Cafe, Cracked Crab, Steamers, Sycamore Mineral Springs and Ventana Grill will carefully craft dishes that best display the winning blends of the Sunset International Wine Competition.
