Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort Awards Parking Garage Contract to Roy Anderson Corp

D'IBERVILLE, Miss., July 15, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort announced that the contract for the construction of an over 1,000 space parking garage has been awarded to Roy Anderson Corp; a Gulfport, Mississippi based Construction Company.

Roy Anderson Corp will break ground as early as Monday, July 18 on phase two of the project, which will bring a seven floor, 1,023 space parking garage. It is planned to open at the end of February 2017. "We are very pleased to have been selected to build this important addition to the Scarlet Pearl project, which we completed in December 2015," said Roy Anderson, III, President/CEO of Roy Anderson Corp.

SOSH Architects are at the helm of the parking garage design, Nory Hazaveh and his team, based out of his New York office, designed the Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort building. "For this project to be successful two components were essential to the design process; encompassing a parking garage that promoted easy access, level surface parking, was well- lit as well as being consistent with the Scarlet Pearl experience and modern in approach," said Nory Hazaveh, Lead Designer.

This is only the beginning for Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort, Director of Facilities, E.J. Clinton said, "We've been open for seven months. It's exciting to go ahead and start phase two of our construction with potential phase three and phase four in the next three to five years."
