Hildebrand joins Engauge from JP Morgan Chase's retail bank where he served as senior vice president, brand marketing and customer acquisition, responsible for advertising, direct marketing and in-branch communications. Prior to JP Morgan Chase, the marketing veteran held senior level positions at Capital One, where he headed consumer marketing efforts for the credit card division, and Epsilon, the largest database-marketing firm in the U.S.

Hildebrand's charge is to help Engauge's clients grow by strategically connecting brand messages with consumers at the right time and right place. The disciplines reporting to Hildebrand will include media buying and planning, direct/digital strategy, analytics and data technology/partnerships.

Hildebrand will split his time between the agency's Columbus headquarters and its fast-growing Atlanta division, where the Digital Innovation Group executes social media and digital campaigns for Chick-fil-A, Food Lion, Perkins Restaurants and InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), among other brands.
Hildebrand's experience includes leading social marketing agency Bold Mouth Inc., an agency he founded. He is also a former management consultant with Arthur D. Little and has been a marketing executive for the Marriott Corporation and KFC Inc. He began his career as a brand manager at PepsiCo. He has served a portfolio of brands during his agency career, including AARP, Tribune Company, Disney, Nissan, PBS, Purina and American Express. Hildebrand has also served on the Board of Directors of the Direct Marketing Association, the Board of Advisors for the Interactive Marketing Institute of Virginia Commonwealth University and served as lecturer for the Direct Marketing Educational Foundation. He received his B.A. in Economics from Georgetown University and an M.B.A. in Marketing and Finance from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
