Scott Process Systems, Inc. Announces New President
HARTVILLE, Ohio, April 29 /PR Newswire/ -- Scott Process Systems, Inc. ("SPSI"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of privately-held, St. Louis, Missouri-based CIC Group, Inc. ("CIC Group"), announced today that its Board of Directors has appointed Thomas E. Bach as President. Mr. Bach's primary responsibilities will be to drive SPSI's strategic planning process, to cultivate existing and develop new customer relationships and to assure continued superior quality of product.
Mr. Bach is a thirty-year veteran of the fabrication, erection and construction industry and has had significant leadership roles in numerous companies during his career. Most recently, he served as Director of Operations for CIC Group. He received his degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri at Rolla and his MBA from St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia.
Mr. Bach will lead SPSI's management team consisting of Jerry Stethem, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and Brian Sedlock, Vice President and Director of Accounting in executing SPSI's strategic plan.

SPSI is a fabricator of process, power and nuclear piping systems used primarily in the power generation industry. Founded in 1983 in Hartville, Ohio, SPSI provides solutions in the shop fabrication and design of piping systems. SPSI also provides field fabrication and erection services. SPSI's systems have also been used in waste water treatment and chemical and petroleum processing applications.
SPSI's expertise includes National Board Inspection Code ("NBIC") R – Repair certification and experience in fabricating components under the European Pressure Equipment Directive ("PED").
SPSI recently completed the recertification of its full slate of American Society of Mechanical Engineers ("ASME") code stamps, including S – Power Boiler, PP – Power Piping Systems, U – Unfired Pressure Vessels, N – Nuclear Components, NPT – Nuclear Piping Systems (with and without design) and NS – Nuclear Supports (with and without design authority). The successful ASME recertification will continue through January 2012.
