Screen Printing Partnership to Benefit Homeless Veterans
BRENTWOOD, Tenn., Aug. 19, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Image Connection, LLC of Brentwood is proud to announce a partnership for screen printing services with the Building Lives Foundation which serves homeless Veterans. Under this agreement, Building Lives will provide contract screen printing services to Image Connection, who is already in the business of providing screen printed and decorated apparel to businesses, schools and organizations. This new service will help to provide an additional revenue stream for Building Lives, as well as providing additional skills and employment opportunities for program participants. Building Lives Foundation, Inc., is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization, which was formed by a group of middle Tennessee business leaders, who recognized the severity of Nashville's homeless veterans' situation. Most regrettably, over twenty percent of Nashville's homeless are honourably discharged veterans. Building Lives Foundation, Inc. is committed to assisting Nashville's veterans by providing one-on-one mentoring, health and psychological care referrals, employment, transportation, housing and financial education. Our singular goal is to support and transition each client to become productive members of our community. Building Lives is now supporting programs in Illinois and Georgia as well. To date, only about 5% of BLF clients return to homelessness or prison within the first year, far less than area and national averages.
